We have some exciting news to share! There was guidance shared out late yesterday regarding outdoor pools. Thanks to some of our members sharing that information!
The State is transitioning from Safer at Home to Safer at Home and in the Vast, Great Outdoors. What this means for outdoor pools is that we can Open (soon)!
There currently is a Personal Recreation Draft Guidance that is open for public feedback through June 3rd, with the final version announced June 4th. Once this process is complete and a date is officially given, we plan to open soon after.
When we do open, you’ll notice a few changes. We are working towards addressing the guidelines the State has outlined. We don’t think it will be an issue, but want to call out that capacity will be limited to 50. If we start to run into this, we may have to start exploring a reservation type system.
More information can be found here regarding the June 1st briefing.
